At Crime Exterminators, we follow a strict and thorough pre-employment screeningprocess to ensure that every security officer meets our high standards. Our screening includes: Reference verification to confirm previous employment and performance. Security competency testing to assess skills and readiness/ Criminal clearance checks conducted via fingerprinting at the local SAPS. PSIRA registration and grading verification to ensure compliance and suitable industry experience. Training is a critical and ongoing component of our operations. We invest continuously in the development of our officers to ensure they remain competent, confident, and fully equipped to deliver reliable and effective security services. All employees are required to sign a Disciplinary Code of Conduct upon employment, reinforcing professionalism, accountability, and ethical behaviour.

We continuous training and development form the foundation of our service excellence. All our armed officers regularly attend refresher courses covering relevant legislation, as well as the proper and safe use of all weapons and equipment. This ongoing training ensures that their skills remain current and that the services we provide are both effective and aligned with the highest safety standards—for our clients, our staff, and the public. Our control room personnel also participate in regular communication and performance refresher
programmes. Because the control room is a high-pressure environment, controllers are trained to maintain professionalism, communicate clearly, and handle critical situations with confidence. This ensures they can build and sustain long-term client relationships while demonstrating integrity, a hands-on approach, and a strong commitment to client safety and reassurance.

Crime Exterminators is deeply committed to community safety and actively participates in joint operations with the SAPS and the Community Policing Forum (CPF).
